By manufacturing the entire window at the factory and leaving only assembly for site, installation timelines become dramatically more predictable.
Because units are dispatched as complete, labelled window-in-a-box packages, there is minimal risk of damage or breakage in transit — and minimal risk of a shipment showing up incomplete or mismatched to the opening it was built for.
